I realise that "sympathy" isn't written strait and the ink splattered on the envelope but better done than ideally perfect in my mind don't you think?

Any words of sympathy are always appreciated. Your card is beautiful and I'm sure she loves that you are reaching out to her.

That is a beautiful card. several years ago i wrote a post about how to write a sympathy card and it is still one of my most visited posts. It must pop up in google searches quite regularly. I am sure you did a wonderful job and, as Lisa said, any words of sympathy are appreciated.
