I have just made your toddler back-pack today for my toddler who is starting nursery school this week. Very simple and looks great. Although I would suggest the pattern should be updated for the size of the rectangle flap - I measured mine to the width of the jean leg, so it fit right, and I think the flap needs more length in it to be more secure.
For girls it would be nice with some extra embellishments - maybe some colour ric-rac somewhere?
Otherwise loved the pattern, easy to follow and such a great idea - I didn't have to purchase anything at all to make this! Thank you :)

Thanks for sharing the Ikea duvet cover. I have trouble finding fabric I that is 45 wide. Can you maybe tell me where I can get that or what brand you used? Thanks in advance!
