Soooo, I am still working on Finn's tree. It's actually meant to be framed and not turned into a pillow as some of you believed. Which is for the best because I don't think the bond between the leaves and the velour background is too good.
I am on the embroidery right now and just looking at this picture above I want to drop Typepad as my provider. This platform makes all my pictures look horrible and I think it's one of the reasons why I am not blogging much lately. Does anybody have this issue? Has anybody else gone through a blog provider change successfully? Please let me know!
Also in the work, my Sewing Republic pattern for a garland of felt and fabric pennants, all I was missing were the step by step pictures but I took them at last. It's not easy when you have already made it all and the prototype is done... I had to cut extra pieces and so on, hence the lack of enthusiasm for the task and the huge relief I am feeling now it's done. 'sigh'
Sorry, I am a bit of a whiner today, it's raining and I have nothing particularly exceptional to look forward to lately. I have been trying to combat the blues by listening to some Shakira, it reminds me of my Zumba class that I am going to be missing tonight, yes, I know, more whining. Zumba just makes me want to let my hair down, hold my bangs with a fake Hawaiian flower and pretend to 'shake it'. All of which I end up doing. It's probably the only form of exercise you can show up to wearing makeup and this in itself makes it perfect. Smile.
What I wouldn't do to dance with you! Hang in there.

I love zumba. I started taking classes in January at the local community center and I am completely hooked.
PS...it is ok to whine sometimes. =)

I really like zumba. Unfortunately my bulging disk does not like it. I'm not sure changing blog providers will help the photo degeneration problem? Blogger cuts the quality of mine a lot too. However, one thing I do find aggravating is waiting 2 minutes for a blog with huge high res photos to download. So it is a dilemma.

L, I am really sorry to hear about your back, I hope it doesnt bug you everyday. It is true that zumba is hard on the back!

I'm a long-time lurker, first time commenter... I use blogger, and drop the HTML codes for my photos from Flickr right into my blog. I think it keeps the quality very well. I don't know if TypePad has the same option. (Take a gander at my blog and see.) I will still read your blog regardless! =)
