This wreath, is made up of the branches at the bottom of our tree. I love that it was all there for us to use, it's like a gift the tree gave our front door.
they are so many things to make, do, buy, clean before the 24th. I suspect many of us feel this pressure building right now. While doing some mad sewing I have been listening to the podcast of Russian Tales from Toast. You can find them here.
I had those exact books as a child, and looking back at the illustrations it's no wonder I love mushrooms. Almost every page sports a spud or two or twelve.
Absolutely - I can feel pressure building away in the background..and I still have another week at work to go. Nearly finished Xmas shopping, so that will be a big relief.

Thanks again for letting me quilt on your Bernina. I didn't win the challenge last night but had a great time. There were many beautiful quilts! I forgot to take a picture of my quilt while it was hanging up. I will have to find a nice spot to photograph it sometime soon and send you a photo.
I love the illustration from the Russian Tale. The old engravings are so beautiful! So much detail!

love the way your wreath is looking. I lived in Germany as a child and so much of there folklore has forests and gnomes and mushrooms...now I am exceedingly fond of mushrooms myself. Glad someone else has the same affliction....

I just love those Russian Wonder Tales. I went to Amazon and ordered the book. Tell me more about the pod cast. Can I just download the Russian Wonder Tales by
Toast to my iPod? This is the first time I have ever listened to a pod cast.
