While Finn naps I finally take the time to sew the tiny buttons on the welts of my new pair of fingerless mittens.
The yarn is blended with silk and I fear it will not wear well. it's so purple though, my new found favorite.
Pattern: Welted Fingerless Mittens from Churchmouse.
Yarn: Louisa Harding Grace. 1 skein on US 4.

Super cute!! I love purple too, especially plummy purple!

What beautiful mitts! I love the blend of the yarn - the silk gives it such a sheen and the buttons you chose pick it up perfectly!

Oh they are lovely! I'm not usually drawn to purple lately, but that yarn is such a nice shade, and the buttons are perfect! I can't imagine the gloves without them.
