I had fun designing a pretend skin for a Bernina 220 this morning. I chose the 220 because most of my students sew on it and it's a fantastic machine. When people ask me what sewing machine I would get if my house burned down and I didn't have an unlimited budget I always say the 220. Not that I don't like the 440, the one currently on loan from Sewing Republic, it's awesome, but not everyone wants a big machine. For the skin, the 220 was the only available model I am really familiar with. The proceeds of the skin sales go towards breast cancer research. I was really happy to see that they had a great big mushroom!
That is very YOU, Juliette. What a fun application. You would always know which machine was yours when you went to quilt retreats!
