My two clotheline baskets are lined, handled and ready to go.
I have really fallen in love with the idea of making shapes out of coils and fabric and want to learn all the techniques that are out there. From just looking at amazon I can see that there are at least two more ways to make those. I will try them all.
I took a few pictures of the second basket as it was growing out of the Bernina. By the way, an edgestitch foot is a must otherwise you would need five hands instead of three. Yes, I know the only have two hands but you have to get super creative and pretend that it is not the case.

These are amazing. They remind me of those yarn wrapped coiled baskets from school, but of course, way more sophisticated. I'd love to try something like this.
