Look at this great table loom the Guild is letting me rent! You wouldn't believe how fast you can warp this thing! usually I think of warping as an activity to be spread out over a week but this little guy was done in about 4 hours! start to finish, get weaving the same day. I decided that since I cannot attend infinite amounts of workshops and classes I am going to make my own rag rug sampler. Testing the difference between torn and cut trips, folded strip, double strips, well you get the idea... I will take really goods notes too, I will! I will!
I am always scouting for great weaving blogs, especially written by people in there 20's and 30's. They are some amazing weavers out there, but their projects are so intense that there isn't much for me to pick up.
My new favorite is Kristin's Nitsirk. It's all in swedish but somehow I doubt you will care much, her knits and weaving are just incredible. Check out this bag woven out of news paper or this free form crochet design.
This japanese blog, which is possibly called Home Spun gives me great color ideas.
This lady writes about hers and her friends gorgeous handwovens, they meet in incredible locations, just look at this cottage, my halloween cape would be right at home!
I love the design of your blog. I have something similar with just the white background but I love how you personalized yours! Wish I knew more about blogging to do the same.

After your experience with the four hour warp on this loom, you will be able to warp your floor loom faster too.
