Last night, after a day in the sun I felt like collapsing backward and never getting up again. Then the question struck me: Could the Bernina 580 embroider on burlap and what would that look like? I had to know at once, so I tried.
Since permanent stabilizer would show, I used tear-away (just one layer) and hooped everything in quite strait. It's a good idea to start with a new needle, and you can probably kiss it goodbye at the end of the project. The monogram's initials aren't ours of course but a friend's. Now why did I use such a small piece! it limits what I can make with the piece rather a lot.
