I have being extremely lucky in the thrifting department lately. It's probably not so much luck as constant visits to the local goodwill and savers. One of my favorite finds has been this whimsical bunny by local artist Jeni Gochnour. She runs amazing shows around and in the salt lake valley, I really recommend you visit one. It's filled with lovely things handmade by local crafters, very well curated. The next show will be at the Swiss Days in Midway. I love Midway, a little Swiss village behind Park City, it's adorable in a very posh way!
I do love the Bunny just as much as Midway, in fact I emailed Jeni to tell her of his rescue. She is a very friendly woman as I discovered through the web!
And now for something completely different, but inspired by the snatching of a dvd set of Rodgers & Hammerstein complete collection of musicals for a song (pun intended). I really only want The Sound of Music, Alps lover as you may have guessed. I wrote a few words with a pointed pen:
I started an online calligraphy class last week, about which I will talk about much more. It's both challenging and exciting. I love having homework again, but free quotes are the most interesting to work on.
