Today is the annual Weavers Guild Christmas dinner. It's usually well attended with a gift exchange at the end. I am bringing kumquat macarons (pictures to come soon) and a felt ogee mobile with embellished leaves. Just like those.
It's been complicated taking pictures in natural light lately, and unless the earth starts rotating the other way I can't see it improving for many months. To this end, some Christmas fonds were spent purchasing a reflector set and I can't wait to use it on the 25th! Right now I am holding a sheet of 8.5" by 11" paper as close as possible to the bottom of the frame to bounce off the light on the shadows. Very fancy I know...
So pretty, Juliette! I love the pinks and roses and the super neat stitching on the leaves. Also, I'm going to use your tip about holding the white paper to reflect light -- how clever!
