A project cooked out of boredom on a Thursday afternoon stuck indoors to stay out of the arctic cold and pollution.
We stamped wooden sticks with pigment ink and embossed them for an interesting texture bellow our fingertips.
I then let Finn take the pictures, giving him guidance and encouragements to keep shooting. He was completely delighted to be trusted with such a task, perched high on a chair looking down and trying to reach the shutter with his little fingers... I set the camera to take multiple shots each time (even more 'grown-up' sounds).
These little sticks will become bookmarks for his French grandma. I know she will love and use them. Here I just marvel as these images taken together, it's incredible what you can do with an almost 5 year old!
Amazing what you can do with a genius child. ;) The bookmarks are beautiful.
There are so many fun things to do with a child this age! It is a great age!
