Why did I ever stop quilting? I remember another blogger, very adept at knitting that one day just decided she had knit enough or anyway blogged about it enough and didn't enjoy it much any longer. Here is her post from 2009. I guess around 2009 this guy little guy took over our lives and quilting became less and less interesting.
I don't know why suddenly I felt like picking it up again, maybe because I had purged my stash of almost all of it's content or maybe it is the studio Thomas is building for me. Suddenly less was more and I could see all the possibility when before I saw only clutter. Never mind why! It makes me so happy to sew again, to make fabric art again and learn to trust myself with more ambitious projects...
Your little guy is old enough to entertain himself for periods of time and goes to school. It makes a big difference with what you feel like doing! Glad to have you back. You never fully left but glad you are getting back in with both feet!
