Today, while stopping in Joann's, I spotted this magazine on the shelves and thought: Hey! I have something in there, I should blog about it.
The editors approached me what seems like last winter to work out a blanket scarf pattern with a natural fringe. I was weaving a bit more at the time (as in: my loom wasn't buried under the pile of odds and ends that goes with a remodel) and playing with weft and warp seemed like great fun.
Those scarves, when I had them in my possesion were the cosiest most scrumptious things to wear but alas I had to send them off to be photographed. The yardage would yield a few, two or three for you and your friends.
You need a serger for this project, and setting it up will be the hardest part, after that you are good to go!
Beautiful! My 3 daughters would love these. I'll have to look for it!
