« Back to Christmas Pixie Tutorial
This photo tutorial is here to help you create your own personal pixie so that your house might be kept in a cheerful spirit during the Holidays. Be careful to feed it well or it might get rather mischievous.
To make the pixie you’ll need a few things:
A functioning sewing machine with a needle.
The pdf pattern available on this site, it contains two pages.

Fabrics:
Some ticking fabric, no more than a fat quarter. I found mine at Joann’s and it’s made in the USA! Weird…
Some red wool felt, any kind will do, but the thicker the harder to sew. Mine is 100% wool by National Nonwovens.
A small piece of linen for the face. Here I used Robert Kaufmann 50% cotton 50% linen.
Notions:
Red White and Black thread. Red embroidery thread. Two very small black buttons for the eyes. Hand sewing needles. Pins. Cotton stuffing or polyfill. Small ruby-red ink pad for cheeks and a small piece piece of ribbon to hang the pixie.
